JalBhoomi - Land and Water Fights - Incredible India

Land fights and water fights will increasingly define Indian politics and the agenda of Indian politicians. The issues of global warming, irreversible climate change, costs of environmental degradation will increasingly be burdened on the Indian poor and rural economy dependant population - not covered under Sixth Pay Commission and highs / lows of Indian Sensex. The focus of Indian environmental NGO's / think tanks will accordingly shift from foreign funding to advocacy of collective rights and evolving protective legal frameworks if Indian democracy is to have relevance.
